Investment funding The government of the Free State of Thuringia has a variety of funding programmes in place to support investment and construction projects by new companies and also provides support to help existing SMEs expand. Since the rules of these programmes focus on well-paid jobs and career development, Thuringia is able to hold its own in the competition for skilled personnel. Investment assistance is also available in Thuringia under the GRW Joint Task ‘Improvement of the Regional Economic Infrastructure’ programme with total annual funding of about €100 million as well as the subsidized loan programmes Thüringen-Invest and Thüringen-Dynamik.
Key contacts regarding funding Thuringian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society, Thüringer Aufbaubank (development bank), GFAW Thüringen (employment and development agency)
